Emergency Preparedness

Virgin, Utah is a small community with big hearts and a firm commitment to the simple and yet very satisfying pre-disaster response principle of:

Proper Prior Preparation Prevents Poor Performance

Most especially in the areas of planning for lessened property damage and fewer injuries when a disaster occurs again in our area. Our community works easily and effectively with the Southwest Utah Public Heath Dept., a well organized and productive source of timely information and ongoing support of our town efforts. Our local fire department is well trained and fully supports a highly capable EMT team. Additionally, we publish a regularly up-dated preparedness “know-how-to“ article in our monthly Virgin Town Newsletter.

Bob Kelly heads up that “Q & A“ activity and maintains a strong digital library of  preparedness topics available at no charge via email. His contact is BOBKELLY@CPAZ.NET, and your questions and comments are always valued & welcomed. Your contact E-mail is always private. In his previous life Bob has been the area CERT trainer / team Leader, Eastern Washington County Citizen Corps member, and has published 29 preparedness articles (99,000+ WORDS) through the years.

Our Mayor, our council members, our committee members, all have the same commitment to serve our community, and the same question,

HOW CAN WE HELP YOU?
